Senior Development Operations Engineer
Develop, maintain, monitor, and automate Cloud infrastructure for Core Services team and Analytics team. Automate deployments using Amazon Web Services Development tools, Jenkins, Beanstalk, and Git. Maintain, manage and tune PostgreSQL, MYSQL, MS SQL, and AWS Aurora databases. Tune and upgrade the current LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) web development platform and Python Django Stack for Core Service and Analytics team. Monitor deployments and release cycles for seamless operations. Create and automate database, code, and workflow pipelines. Create Lambda functions for repetitive application tasks and for incident response. Set up monitoring tools like Sensu, Nagios, New Relic, and AWS Cloud Watch. Set up notification systems for system issues. Create backup and disaster recovery plans. Monitor efficient resource utilization in AWS Cloud Infrastructure. Deploy Cloud stack configuration management using Chef and Salt. Approve the weekly code publish for Python/Django stack and LAMP stack. Automate server maintenance tasks such as backup and recovery where necessary using Python and Shell Script. Perform automated tests using Selenium. Produce Service Level Agreements and Incident Reports to record incidents and resolutions. Migrate physical servers to cloud servers with minimal down time. Create proposals and cost estimate documentation for cloud hosting environments. Act as a liaison between company clients and third-party hosting providers. Create scaled hosting environments in Amazon Web Services. Implement web application firewalls for web service and mobile application data security to protect digital assets from unauthorized access and DDOS attacks. Communicate QA status and issues to project stakeholders and the Managing Director.

Required Education and Professional Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Network Security, or related field. In the alternative, employer will accept Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Network Security, or related field.
Required Work Experience:
Bachelor’s, plus five (5) years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor's experience in software engineering, web development, or related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept Master’s, plus (3) years of experience in software engineering, web development, or related occupation.
Required Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge:
